Diploma In X RAY Technicians’ Course (DXRT)

The course entails training of students in both Theoretical and practical aspects of Radiology technology. The students are trained in the various aspects of radio physics, components of X ray machine, Radiology imaging techniques and darkroom procedures. On completion of the course, the student would be able to perform as an X Ray Technician in all aspects of radiological investigation in patient care.

Objectives After completion of this course, the student will be able to Assist patients to prepare for Xray and operate associate machinery, Monitor equipment and ensure that they are clean to perform appropriate diagnosis, Evaluate all X-ray films and coordinate with physicians on same.

  • Provide highest quality of patient care, Ensure and maintain records of X-ray films and associate cassettes, Evaluate angle and range of equipment and assist in appropriate results.
Eligibility

XII Pass / Under Graduate / Graduate / Post-Graduate.
